Bring Back The 90s!

Eras come and go, but the 1990s are always a source of inspiration for Demetrios. It was definitely a decade of fashion change. As the years progressed, wedding gown styles became sexier and less traditional, doing away with the more modest wedding dresses. Rock and roll and even figure skating greatly influenced this unforgettable era.  Some of our most innovative and beautiful designs come from the 90s where sleeves rocked the wedding fashion industry, and the strapless neckline trend was just making its mark.  From sheer, mesh fabric to detachable intricate trains, each gown made a poignant statement and each bride stood out in her own unique way. Help us Bring Back The 90s, by voting for one of the wedding dresses below. Demetrios will recreate the winning design for the new 2016 collection! Vote here:

Glitz & Glamour – This shimmering, sequined Chantilly lace sheath gown featured a high halter neckline with unique open shoulders that transitioned into long sleeves.  The bodice neckline and sleeves were embellished with pearled embroidery.  The back featured a detachable train.

Sheer Bliss – This silk organza ball gown was one of our first styles introduced with sheer micro-mesh sleeves that were inspired by the 1994 Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan.  It featured a high sheer neckline with long sleeves.  The bodice and cuff of sleeves were embellished with pearled embroidery.

Sleek & Chic - This sleek, sophisticated, satin sheath gown features a low sexy halter bodice outlines with beaded trim and sheer mesh long sleeves, perfect for the simple and sophisticated bride.

Floral Fantasy – Definitely unique for its time, this magnificent floral Venice lace sheath featured short sleeves and plunging sexy back finished with a striking detachable pleated train with bow.

Modest to Mini – This two-piece ensemble catered to the fashion forward, non- traditional bride.   The mini lace gown featured jeweled beading on the neckline and hem and came with a stunning off-the-shoulder, long sleeve, satin and lace coat which offered two different looks from ceremony to reception.

Buttons & Bows -  It’s all about the back of this gorgeous gown. Turns heads as your walk down the aisle with this gown featuring a lace back, with buttons and a large bow.
